I led the creation of the ad campaign for Gardener's Supply Spring Equinox Sale. Taking a cue from the idea of renewal, I created the campaign language "Renew Yourself: Plant a Garden." In attempting to shift the Gardener's brand towards inspirational, lifestyle images, I focused on using golden hour photography showing happy people in their gardens, rather than focusing on product imagery. Additionally, many of the products in the sale didn't have great selling assets, so I relied on stock imagery to communicate the end benefits of a garden - delicious food, beautiful flowers, and the satisfaction of renewing your soul and yourself through your garden activities; the product just being the vehicle to arrive at those destinations. The result was an inspirational campaign that management wanted to continue various formats throughout the spring. Included below are emails and social assets, both static and motion graphics.
